Vivian Schiller (moderator), is the Executive Director of the Aspen Institute. She has held senior roles at NPR and The New York Times.

Karen Hao is Karen Hao is a senior editor at the MIT Technology Review where she covers artificial intelligence and its impact on society.

Damon Beres is a journalist whose work focuses on the effects of technology on people and the planet and currently is Editor in Chief of Unfinished Media, a new brand from Unfinished that will focus on tech and society.

Khari Johnson is a senior writer for WIRED where he covers artificial intelligence and the positive and negative ways AI shapes human lives.

Their conversation will cover the role of journalism and the media in building the field of responsible and public interest technology, the make-up of the field of tech journalism, what doing (critical) tech journalism looks like, and possible career paths into tech journalism
